Early Orthodontic Screening
The American Orthodontic Society recommends that all children have an orthodontic screening no later than age 7. An early examination can lead to simpler, more effective treatment for the patient, or at least, greater peace of mind.
Phase I Treatment
Some children exhibit early signs of teeth and bite problems that should be corrected early. Early orthodontic treatment at age 6 – 10 is designed to guide and enhance your child’s own natural growth before problems are firmly set. Treatment may be primarily orthopedic in nature. The treatment time is typically 12 – 14 months.
Comprehensive Orthodontics
Full braces are best done during the adolescent years (11 – 16) in order to correct the bite and align the teeth for improved functional occlusion and smile esthetics. Straight teeth function better, are easier to clean, and are more likely to last your lifetime. Recent studies show that adults with crooked teeth are far more likely to have gum disease and even tooth decay than those with straight teeth.
Adult Orthodontics

Adults comprise about 15% of our practice. Through a team effort, the adult patient can achieve the optimal result utilizing braces, Invisalign, bonding or veneers, bleaching and other cosmetic procedures.
